    The grotesque nightmare of the Trump reality show presidency is over. I'd like to think we won't see a rerun but so many made money and benefitted from building him up and taking him down. Not just Fox News. For all his deficiencies, Trump understands this about our society.

    Important thread. A large swath of America has been radicalized. We see horror on our Twitter timeline, but many "regular" Trump supporting folks support the insurrectionists. It's why enablers must not only condemn the rioters, but admit to lying about the election and resign

    In recent days, I've been in touch with some Trump supporters I know in the US. Not anyone you would have heard of, just regular middle class whites, mostly in the northeast. I've tried to maintain contact & just listen over the years, so I understand their thinking. 1/

    Those of us that follow disinformation and extremism know what will happen next. The "it was antifa's fault" narrative will become mainstream. Unless something is done immediately to stop people like Tucker Carlson and those echoing the lies on social media, this will get worse
