    I recently did an interview with RT and was unaware they are a registered foreign agent. I regret doing the interview and apologize for allowing myself to be taken advantage of. I especially apologize to the national security community who is working hard to defend us.

    One of the most important lessons from 2016 is the role disinformation plays in denigrating democracy. Bad actors like Wikileaks, foreign governments, political extremists, played the media to help Trump and spread false or divisive news. So sad to watch media repeat its mistakes

    Few understood the magnitude of my warning in 2016. Many Americans are brainwashed by propaganda churned out by Russia and Trump enablers. It's happening again. The tech companies need to act NOW to prevent widespread propaganda aimed at taking down our democracy
