It doesn't even have to be inhumane. Nobody *has* to get their heads chopped off suddenly. "You have 5 years to get under $50M net worth by giving it away, or else you lose your head." No human being needs to hold more than $50M of wealth.

Normalizing violence in this way is deeply immoral. Society depends on shared norms and expectations.
If you think current shared norms and expectations don't lead to violence, don't start watching the news; you'll be disappointed.
Also, if you think wealth redistribution is going to happen without the force of the state as a threat, you are... gravely mistaken.
I think it's fair to be concerned about how, if taken to the logical extreme, this kind of thinking can lead to the kind of radicalization that causes "lone wolves" to carry out redistributive justice on their own and pointless deaths
Have you seen a guillotine? They're not lone wolf solutions. Wealth redistribution is currently going from the poor to the rich. History provides a number of examples of how that plays out. Not talking about it isn't going to make that less true.
Wealth is not being redistributed from the poor, and none of these revolutionary LARPers are gonna do shit. Stop fantasizing about it, its not healthy.
