Bad take really... She's using the excuse of her parents but that wasn't the total intent of her travels.. Bottom line is she doesn't believe the "science" the rest of us are being fed, just by virtue of her actions.

Exactly right. Someone gets busted like she did in the public eye, they are going to put the best possible spin on it - usually attempting to engender sympathy.
