    It might be best to ignore Trump and others calling this the Chinese coronavirus. It's a reflexive control tactic -- they want people to get outraged, so then it becomes partisan and more folks double down. Flip the script and call it COVID-19 as though you didn't hear it.

    This here is the difference between trying to move elected officials to do things for our people and having our people elected to do what needs to be done for our communities! This is democracy at its best: commanding by obeying a social movement!

    My mom was a domestic worker - she cleaned houses to support our family. As a little girl, I grew up reading books on other people’s staircases. I did homework on other people’s dinner tables. Today, as a Congresswoman, I’m proud to cosponsor the Domestic Worker Bill of Rights.

    One last thought. Beyond the ragemaking ableism of no ramp up to the stage, what really gets me is that Broadway makes magic happen in small, old spaces 8xs a week. The celebrated the creation of the 2,000 lb puppet, & yet a ramp for an awardee doesn’t happen

    Also, as a sign of how much further we still have to go, there was no ramp created for the stage even when they knew that one of the nominees was a chair user. The reason Ali was onstage to receive her award was because she was still backstage after her performance. 🤯🤬

    Can we please stop saying Trump has Tourette's? Actually, can we stop saying ANY disabilities explains or excuses his hate? makes me say things I don't mean. Trump means exactly what he says. Stop being ableist & hold him accountable for his behavior.
