Nah, I know what he’s doing. To fix an unjust system you have to break it and re-make it. It’ll get worse before it gets better. The judicial system is not broken but designed for unjust mass incarceration that is creating these social issues and upending lives along the way.

I would agree with you to a point. EXCEPT for the HATE CRIMES that happened in Chinatown as a direct result of people being released who were multiple offenders.

Those offenders had other issues that locking them up won’t solve. Someone else will take his place if the environment does not change. Chesa is forcing us to confront those issues and figure out new approaches address these issues since the old ways isn’t working.
