Yes, but I don't quite think that is the point here. I once attended a class by a cognitive linguist that told us what mathematics is and how it is done (in their opinion). The fact that no actual mathematician agreed with either description did not matter.

Yeah, my (extremely patchy) impression is that a good part of philosophy of math was until relatively recently concerned with, like, platonism. Thus
