The continuing popularity of Obama, MCU, & Harry Potter among Millenials reminds me of how optimistic the latter were despite the recession--at least the Arc of History was bending faster towards Justice.

After the Culture War reignited in Obama's 2nd term, Millenials are still very liberal or leftist, but there's a militancy that didn't exist even at the height of Occupy Wall Street. At least that's been my impression of the past decade.
