Problem 1: interesting brains tend to come up with interesting ideas even if they are horrible and censored
-
-
This only happens if the bodies inhabited by the interesting brains never leave their parents’ basement. If they get out and see world a bit, typically the ideas get nicer AND smarter. Or they get meaner AND dumber. Win-win. Travel is the great QA process for brains.

Platforms with rudimentary sacredness gatekeepers will keep out interesting brains, but platforms without them will expose horrible ideas to people who are too dumb to realize they're horrible. Solution may be internal gatekeeping on the grounds of subversiveness.

Like, being meaningfully subversive on purpose requires the same kind of machinery as determining how horrible a thing is. People who can't do that tend to repeat horrible ideas that are old & broken (neo-nazis) instead of inventing new ones (Nick Land, Slajov Zizek).
