People with high g learn faster, but is that advantage bigger when learning from other people or when learning from experimenting?

my [epistemic status: intuition] take: g works as well for either but learning from others is both more frequently confounded by other factors and more valuable 99% of the time (high g leads to overrating your intuitions and that 1% of the time just confirms the shit out of that)
