I think I know what you mean with the fertility bit, but not sure about suicide, how would you say the media misrepresents it e.g. in the longterm?

That's just age 15-24, so I guess it may have been affected by the baby boom. This one looks like it's all ages (not age adjusted), which suggests it was low but not unprecedentedly low in 2000?pic.twitter.com/Xb9J53siXv

that said, it’s a higher proportion of deaths because every other cause of death has gone down
