I think of rolexes as entry-luxury-signaling by arrivistes who don’t know how to signal wealth tastefully (and mobsters). Is this an accurate perception? What are luxury watch brands that properly arrived richies buy?
I was just saying this morning that it would be cool to have an obviously fake rolex from the 70s that says like “LORAX” or something
