Cog psych is petty reliable (deterministic exp effects) and personality (large n survey methods).
somebody said cog sci was the name they invented as a euphemism for psychology when it got really bad

Results are not as sexy/political as social psych. Though the "implicit racism" IAT is very similar to cog psych methods.
