most of us have to learn how to deal with freedom as an adult, if at all, and it's VERY HARD
probably the thing I envy most about unschooled kids is they get practice dealing with freedom from the beginning

what if the one thing that could make wages go up is if everyone was so used to freedom growing up it was harder to find someone to hire

My dad just had to drop out of school after the third grade to work.on the farm. Hardly freedom.

school makes sense if adult life is very constrained - the more freedom in the average adult life, the more school is dangerous
