For me, 2016 was the first year that passed faster than it should have. My summer 2016 and summer 2017 are subjectively contiguous

Always wanted to take explicit effort to avoid having to say "the years just fly by," but I think the effort's failing. Might be getting old
the cure for that is to become so disconnected from humanity that days/weeks/years cease to have any meaning at all
