I am generally non-violent, principled, and non-ideological. That said, I think I'm totally comfortable with Richard Spencer getting socked.

a main danger is that people tend to classify outgroup speech as "real violence" and ingroup violence as "not violence"
like sometimes they may be right or wrong but there's a general bias

Just to calibrate more, I think "punch a Nazi" is horrific, but "punch this specific one" is okay. More to it than dumb ideas
