the lake next to my house has signs posted announcing that artist proposals are sought for public art pieces at the lake

the signs themselves are huge, bright yellow posterboards with an ugly black font, not exactly inspiring my confidence in the project

I actually found a letter to the editor of the local paper that was like "JUST...NO" and I wanted to upvote it

you should go all john cage on them and submit a proposal for "the silent tranquility of an unadorned lake"
