1) blood in places where you can sell blood is worse & less available than where you can't (more disease, more shortage)
2) if sex is a "sacred gift" like blood, then allowing for its sale could have similar effects on supply

of course sex isn't a *public* anonymous gift like blood and I basically think it's the same as drugs & should be legal
