Three-toed sloths poop about once a week. They climb down to the base of their tree and poo with a blissed-out expression on their faces.

Why take the predator risk by climbing down, instead of just pooing from the top of the tree?
Answer: they poo in the same place to provide breeding grounds for the moths that live in their fur supporting algae colonies which they eat
