I did alot of lsd as a teen. I used to sell it in high school and occasionally took up to 7 or 8 blotters at a time. Still doesnt compare to the terror of waking up not sure of what happened the night before bc I was KO'ed. That's just me though.

Oh sorry I didn't make it clear. Lsd bad trips can be sketchy, though they never last long but not a patch on the dt's. It's the difference between hallucinations and delirium.

I never had rats eating me alive for 5 hours on lsd and every rat had someones face that I'd hurt in some way. Just... horror tbh.

Opiate withdrawal is best described as discomfort. Y'know when you lie down and can't get comfortable? You adjust and adjust but can't find a comfortable position? Opiate withdrawal taught me alot about dopamine function. Even several years later....I still analyze all my...

Hour to hour mood through a framework of dopamine supply. If I can't get comfortable at night it's bc I havent eaten well or exercised enough.

I get you. I've been forced into that sort of analysis by my chronic fatigue condition. Getting my macro's right, walking, lifting , yoga and meditation, being creative, exercising left and right brain. It's all needed.

Yah despite diffs...opiates and booze are both downtown drugs. Depressants in high doses...stimulating in small doses. I'm no expert but I'd guess they're both dopamine based highs. When you get off them you have to find much harder ways to maintain dopamine regulation.

This seems in line with my experience too. One of the things I found was pranayama ( yoga breathing) helps greatly and quite rapidly too.

I have never tried yoga. I probably need some help in this regard. All my lifting and exercise is very personal for me. Everything by myself. Never had any formal training and never tried yoga or any instruction-based training. I probably need to open up somewhat in this regard.
