why aren’t the bottom of boobs as hairy as armpits? different sorta friction? historically smaller breasts?

I can’t find it despite searching but I saw something in the last year or so arguing that underarm & perianal hair are for babies to grip onto during transport - I think it was written in the 1800s and it was wild
