      I can’t find it despite searching but I saw something in the last year or so arguing that underarm & perianal hair are for babies to grip onto during transport - I think it was written in the 1800s and it was wild

          Lymph node and genital hair is for bug detection and removal. Top of head for temperature regulation and UV protection. Facial hair for sexual competition fighting defense, facial and chest hair also for male to male and male to female sexual signalling. (all theories)
