Another distinction between sports and crafts is that sports tend to have an integrity practice/negotiation component (cheating) that isn’t emphasized in crafts

the word is still used, but in a very different sense (achieving a result in a hacky/temporary/unskillful manner, as opposed to an ethical breach)
