First, they overlap, but aren't identical sets, and don't function the same (e.g. universities were monasteries, then upper class formation, then middle class formation, now Maoist madrassas) . Second, we can LARP the old ones but they do a different thing given new context

Frankly all these vague, handwavey notions of "ethics" and "wisdom" unmoored from any (explicit) tradition seems like a huge red flag.
