they found a blood clot in one of dad’s legs :/ so he went back into surgery to get a filter installed that should prevent it from reaching his lungs if it breaks free

you’re good and this is a good thread. fwiw my grandmother had some pretty serious aphasia following a stroke and it got a lot better in a few days.
