Is there a word for when you say something that you’re aware is probably wrong in >5 ways, but still mean it sincerely in a certain context? (Not irony, but a close cousin there of)

and noticing when I don’t have the skill to be fully honest with a technique - have to build up to it
this is “dishonest” not because part is copied, but because the outer edge doesn’t spring from the same logic as the rest

Ohhh ok, that makes sense to me, good analogy. I think I follow. That is a really interesting way of looking at it. (I’m definitely going to have to reflect on this more, appreciate your thoughts on it)
