Turning out old photos with my mother, there was one of her in looking like a liquorice allsort in a knitted swimsuit on a North Yorkshire beach. She told me it was made by her Aunt and immediately fell off when she dipped in the North Sea. Excellent idea imo.

Dipping into the North Sea (a euphemism for the Arctic Ocean) is not a good idea even when wearing a sweater. imo.
