wh how did you i knit fairly seriously but i am not at the level where i understand what the image on the left is is it dyed wool to be spun(?) into yarn? also: pretty!!

yeah it’s a preparation of wool fibers (southdown is the breed, it’s supposed to resist felting) - dyed with indigo & lichen
