I think school is bad but I and many others might have benefitted from classes on how to not write

I was also wondering if it was "how to not write" as meaning "how not to write" with an intentionally split infinitive. One of the vagaries of English
the latter seems to invite “how to avoid writing poorly” which is why I chose the former
