existential threats to me (want mental illness cure, am bisexual) existential threats to friends (don't like transphobia, racism) existential threats to progeny (antinatalism) childhood bullying trauma (identify authoritarianism with childhood bullies, laughing teachers)

my choosing of this stuff is mostly 'how does it concretely relate to my ego or those i feel concern for?' it's a...very egocentric mindset but it think if i tried to be empathetic to anything else i'd burden myself and get even more anxious/depressed

well, I should add that there might be some choice but it is circuitous and waaaaaay upstream: related to perceptual patterns, behavioral habits, social group, personality, etc etc
