Do you consider the underlying semantic and modal logics as form? Or are you thinking eg genre conventions (tho i dont think are totally separate)?

a) reminds me of repeated refrain in Bruce Sterling’s schismatrix: “the mathematical bones of reality” b) I think this is incorrect in a consequential way: forms persist across discontinuities in content. Content persists across discontinuities in form. Mortality yin-yang.

I literally believe this. You ever see, like, old cotton candy, or a spot where spider webs have built up and collapsed on themselves undisturbed for years? So there's kind of a fractal skeleton of strands collapsed onto each other. That's how I think about language.
