I work with a really cool nurse that is super intelligent. We had a patient that has a blood problem called a cold agglutinin. Long story short I recommended he be given a blood warmer. She had never used one (I haven’t either) but I knew they have them in surgery. We found one

And she watched how to use it on youtube and hooked the guy up so that he wouldn’t be in pain. I was impressed that she went the extra mile, but she is super curious and very pleasant person.
