Why do people get so mad talking about whether it’s irresponsible to speed & run yellow lights? Is that politics too?

this is how I feel but recently I’ve seen advocates for running yellow lights AND anti-speed limit driving!

coordination is good - everyone doing 50 is safe, everyone doing 75 is safe mix of people doing 50 and 75 is not so what you get is coalition politics ... with all the vehemence & implicit threats of violence that those always generate debate is hijacking evolved monkey brains
