Why do people get so mad talking about whether it’s irresponsible to speed & run yellow lights? Is that politics too?

yeah it makes me mad too that’s mostly what I was wondering about - but driving safely seems to enrage some people too!

For some, the rage might come from being told that a thing they find pleasurable (and mundane enough to justify not thinking much about risk) is harmful.
