it’s easier to come to the conclusion “I loathe x [for y reason]” but it’s often wrong (e.g. salt tolerance changing)

yeah it’s not changed prefs but lack of insight - realizing e.g. that I hated something after thinking I liked it or the opposite

i find it hard to believe i am lying to myself i want to lie to myself bc i dont trust myself when im not lying i guess i feel obligated to think things are good, that you'd be bad if you didnt like if i admitted what i didnt like i would not like so much i'd be an asshole
