@PereGrimmer said what i'd say basically, BUT i'd like to note that annoying behaviour is often not 'universal', and people can be subdivided into (overlapping?) categories of how they respond humour is a great example: there is a spectrum of hating all humour to requiring it -
so while experimentally modulating one's behaviour is a good GENERAL litmus test for what i'm doing to annoy someone, it's good to recognise some of the 'annoyance classes' people fall into. serious, no-fun-allowed [BORING AS FUCK] types are quite easy to find as i said
