Very nearly just swallowed a bee; spat it (and a mouthful of coffee) out, and to my surprise, it appears to be fine
five years later you and the bee are drinking at a bar “haha remember when you swallowed me” you fist bump each other

Two bee stories: When I was a kid we had a little white mutt who would catch bees out of the air and chew them up. Also, when traveling in Italy, visiting relatives near Pistoia, elderly relative gently caught bee between fingers and released it unharmed outside the car.
