Who ate the biggest advocates these days for the position that high carb/low fat is healthy? Are there any left?

I think the blue zones stuff isn't about weight loss per se; there's some evidence that nonsedentary lifestyles have longer life expectancy even after controlling for weight and BMI
-
oh huh I thought the big result was no effect on lifespan but some quality of life increase

50 miles is like 700 calories a day, which you probably can get in portion sizes that are basically invisibly larger to hungry eyes
-
that’s what I’m saying - hunger adapts (seemingly perfectly) to adjust for exercise

I think not quite a myth, just the number of calories burned running vs. number of calories in a pound of your own flesh vs. number of calories is a modestly sized snack math doesn't make much weight loss sense in the short term

in the short term, no... maybe but a few years ago, i spent time cycling. 2 shorter sessions, 1 recovery and 1 longer session per week. i can tell you this i needed to EAT - to maintain lean body mass - mass in general - recover as a minimum - meet baseline intake
