Explain self-loathing to me. I get misery and I get wanting to die but I don’t get self-hatred.

for me actually it's pretty easy because i've long anthropomorphised how much i hate everything outside me and the brain that resulted from it. i don't intentionally envisage a malign torturer God but for the most part that's where my hatred goes.
