There was a thing in the news a couple years ago suggesting that lower air pressure actually makes tomato juice taste better. But have you tried Clamato, critical ingredient in the Canadian "caesar" cocktail? That's good too, largely (I suspect) because the clam juice = MSG.

They say taste buds are affected by altitude which is why salty tastes so good on a flight... though I think some have called these findings into question!
