      female suicide is a small fraction of male at every age, and a 70% rise (or fall) in female suicide is much more normal than for male

      You mean because it’s off a lower base? I think that’s like marginal sensitivity or something. Like 1–>2 is 100% increase but 100--> 101 is only 1% despite being +1 in both cases?
