I’m surprised at how angry I am, truth be told. But it was an evil piece, written and published for evil ends, by evil people. And if I can’t muster anger at that, well- I suppose then that article might be right.

Treating genocide flippantly, encouraging self-hatred as a social necessity, degrading our democratic capacity to debate and reason for the sake of money, lying, encouraging the process of the destruction of civil society for the sake of politics.

By analogy: if you were to take a small child and teach them from birth that they were worthless, subhuman, that the world would be better off without them and that they ought to just kill themselves and be done with it, no one would debate the evil of that.

hm it seems like this or something very close to it falls out of AN when you do a reductio on the premises
