I think they started because they were upset that they were not allowed to correct articles on conservapedia they did not like, and then embarked on a more general mission to tell people the only correct way of seeing things. They are not extremists, but strongly reject NPOV.

This is even odder than I expected. Why would people who (apparently) have a strong liberal bent be engaged in the Conservapedia community?
