@edelwax does a thing called the Out of Character party, where you show up and take on a role that you'd never play in your normal social circles

yup -- i did the 5 min version over Zoom, but I imagine the real life experience is more trippy. i've also considered using an improv class as a 2-layered experiment for this (i.e. playing a role when you show up to the class and then playing other roles inside the first role)
