expecting other people to take my moral claims seriously seems antisocial to me (just from experience)
in that it bums people out and makes them probably less likely to hang out with me because they’re so depressing

relevant detail. if you believe a moral cause to be of primary importance then it is peculiar to adopt a strategy for advancing that cause that is divisive and alienating to those who might be persuadable to partially or wholly assist in your cause.
