yeah I mean it's the "effect uncorrelated with the g loading" type of "not on g" (some stuff is petty highly anticorrelated) but it's one the lines of argument used to defend g being more "biological" than the rest of intelligence is a spook
I took him to be arguing that ‘“flynn effect gains are hollow” is less meaningful than it seems’ but accidentally...
(not necessarily relevant to the discussion I just find it baffling and haven’t heard many opinions on it)
