Does anyone actually buy random schwag tee shirts, mugs etc? I mean other than free stuff you might get from companies or conferences?

oh a lot of my consumption is small-scale handmade stuff but I usually don’t like logos or legible stuff

For a while in grad school I used to find and wear weird, inappropriate schwag tees from thrift store. Like ‘Midwestern Dentists Association’. Used to have a mug from some fire chiefs conference that said “False alarms
”
Now I’m too classy for logos in public, even ironic ones -
sometimes I wear a state flag pin because I think it’s great
