      Air was still and nothing around. Streams dry. No wind. Almost October. 11k feet. Sense of being off the normal passage of time, a desiccated unreality. Smell of pine and my own sweat. Learned how much subtle cues from nature can calm/unnerve us, I guess.pic.twitter.com/qo9cPSiiEj
