Agreed. But I have some experience with doctors who are dealing with opioid patients because I have serious insomnia and sleeping-pills were foolishly lumped together with the opioids in regulation, so I see in how they deal with me what they're getting from others. (cont.)

When your baseline of contentment is adjusted, then going back to normal feels like agony. I notice this myself in going off and on sleeping pills for purely non-recreational purposes.
