1) remember that something is ambiguous without remembering which way it resolves or 2) remember right answer and forget that it’s ambiguous

why would you ever resolve an ambiguity? that would mean having less ambiguity and that seems entirely counterproductive.
what made me think of it was “press until” (imperative) meaning “press repeatedly” rather than “press continuously”

I love word games and I love ambiguity because it's one of the best word games. There are so few things in life that demolish the unearned sense of certainty and confidence that we normally possess and every opportunity to do so is precious.
