why would you ever resolve an ambiguity? that would mean having less ambiguity and that seems entirely counterproductive.

the ambiguous-forgetting is such a huge part of narrative bias. i try to keep notes reminding of myself of ambiguous-ness, and I'm always surprised by them later on (eg I once seriously wanted to be a flight steward before I ended up in marketing and now "am a marketer")

this process gets accelerated when you inadvertently tidy up the narrative when recounting it to others. eg people have interviewed me about
@jibabom, and in the process I end up sounding like I Had A Vision All Along, when really I was dicking around and some stuff took off
